Born in Melbourne, Australia in 1947 and educated at Haileybury College close to where our family lived in Brighton,  I later undertook studies in Accounting and Financial Management, graduating as a CPA in 1973. My career was centred on financial management both in corporate life and later in private practice until retiring in 2009.

Soon after returning from an overseas vacation in 1965, I met Marilyn. We were married in 1970 and we will soon celebrate our 50th anniversary. We produced four healthy, happy children who grew into adults gifted with individual talents. We have remained a close family and are blessed with wonderful partners and grandchildren.

Marilyn and I now live on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
